These kids...

They make me laugh...they really do!!

Jamison decided to do a little wall art, by himself...love it! His Gamma and Gampa gave him the Georgia Bulldog wall decals. I thought I had put them aside and I was thinking I would "help" him put them up, later. **I know when there is too much quiet time that he is doing something.** I had to laugh when I walked in his room and saw the finished product. Nice job, Jamison!

...Please note the shorts and shirt...I will have to intervene for him, his style is killin' me! He is wearing his beloved "silky shorts"
His desire to wear them 24/7 exhausts me!!!

Playing a little music for us on his baby grand, thank you Aunt Lori!!

We had a little fun with food...I had a book from the library that is really cool, it gives you all kinds of ideas to make objects from food...I can't remember the name of it right now...anyways, we had fun making it. BUT, when it came time to eat the healthy parts, there was a little resistance :)
Can you tell what it is?! The picture in the book was so much better...much like all things in a book or magazine! It's a scooter...you see it now...right?!

My boy, playing QB!!! Go Jordan!

At the football game, we have a friend who brings Peanut with her. Isn't he so cute? Guess what my kids want? Two dogs, just like Peanut! Jannah walked him for a while and was beside herself with excitement. Jamison didn't get enough of Peanut and he was so mad/sad when we had to part ways with him; can you see the frustration on his face? He wanted the dog, all to himself. My kids ask, plead, beg on a daily basis for a dog or cat. When will I give in?
I don't know...maybe sooner than later, because I can't take much more of their pleading and sadness. They truly believe they are missing out on life...maybe we are. What do you think?

the Nina and the Pinta

We took a little field trip to Grafton, Illinois; it's about a 45 minute drive away. Waiting on us were replicas of the Nina and the Pinta. These ships sail around the US, making stops all over. They were docked along the Mississippi in Grafton. We were excited to see them, especially since we had studied about Columbus in our first week of school.

The kids were probably even more excited to see the dead fish that were on the river's edge...gross!!
Yep, it's dead and they were so happy that they were able to pick it up with a stick...gross, again!!

He-is-FOUR!!

Jamison is four years old. I can hardly believe it, nor do I want to! I tell him all the time that he can't get any bigger, that I always want him to be my baby. Regardless of what I tell him, he just keeps getting bigger!

We celebrated him today and it started with a sugar rush from Krispy Kreme! He really likes donuts and this was his pick for breakfast.

A few things that Jamison is crazy about:
balls (has been since he was old enough to recognize one)
playing sports...all of them
gum and candy
his brother and sister
he's a collector of all things, small (any kind of small trinket)
silky shorts (aka: athletic shorts)
he loves to be read to or be told a story
anyone's bed, just not his own

He checked the mail and was so happy to get some cards (I have been saving them for the past few days and I put them in there today, so that he could get them on his birthday)
He was so excited to get "paper money"
He was also thrilled to have a GA Bulldogs football that's just his size!
A new Razor Scooter...he is a pro on this thing!
What celebration isn't complete with party hats and blowers?!?!
Happy Birthday, Baby J!!!

33's All-right

That is...being 33 years old is all-right! This past weekend, I stepped a little closer to the mid 30's and I am okay with it :) I had a wonderful weekend, and I appreciate all of the calls, messages, cards, gifts and love!!!

Greg and Jordan started my day off by bringing breakfast to me while I was in bed, the other two kiddos were still asleep! As a gift, Greg gave me a certificate to go on a hot air balloon ride...YAY! I have always wanted to do that!! I will be sure to tell you about it when I go! For dinner, we went to one of my favorite places to eat, Texas Roadhouse and then to I Scream, U Scream for custard. They have a pumpkin pie concrete that is to-die-for!! Come out to see me and I will take you to get one, too!

I love the days that I am living. I realize that these are the prime years of life and that I will look back and wish these days were still here. I have been so blessed and I thank God for all He has given me!
