In exactly 12 hours from now, me and the kiddos will be on a plane, headed back to the US! I am soooooooooo excited, and somewhat nervous. I am not a lover of flying, muchless flying for 15 hours, and having the kids by myslef. I will say that God has given me a peace, and I am constantly turning my fear over to Him. I know that He will be with me, and that He will give me the strength to make it! I love knowing that God cares for me, and that He has promised in His Word to give His children what they are in need of. I know that He has every detail and all 15 hours in His hands; how awesome and comforting! As I've been thinking about leaving, I realized that I will miss my "family" and home here in Korea; but I also can't wait to see my family and friends back in the states. So, see you all soon! Pray for me, and I will post once we get settled!

Valentine's Party
We all had a fun time at the party, of course we Moms chatted over snacks and coffee, while the kids had fun making cards for Daddy, eating LOTS of candy and other baked treats, and playing together. I think there were about 15 kids-whoa! This was also a big party for Jamison; at just 4 months old, he got to eat 2 M&Ms! One of our little friends, who is three years old decided to put them in his mouth. I freaked out at first, scared me just thinking that he might get choked on them, but I was able to scoop them out! Jamison had already sucked the coating off, I guess he thought the coated little chocolates were pretty good!

Marshmallows

Thanks to Aunt Melinda, we had all we needed to make the ever so delicious chocolate covered marshmallows!
The kids had a blast eating everything; I think Jannah also had a blast
while topping the marshmallows with pink sprinkles :)
Jordan did not get as "sprinkle happy" as Jannah, but he sure did
like eating the sprinkes straight from the bottle!

The Mouth of Babes
I wish I could remember everything the kids say in a day. Some are funny, some are thought provoking, some are sad, some are so sweet, some are mean, and some are just unforgettable! Here are a few that stand out for the day!
~At 6:30 this morning, Jordan says to me, "I want breakfast." This is the first thing Jordan says to me every morning! I just wish he could say it a little later!
~Jannah says to me,"You are the best Mommy!" I had helped her pick up some toys, that's all it took for her to think that I am the best Mommy! You know time really is the best gift to give to your children. Even though we were picking up, we were doing something together.
~Jordan whispered in Jamison's ear,"when you get big, I will give you all my shooter guns." That was a very selfless statement, Jordan really likes his guns!
~Jannah and I were talking about her birthday (which is the end of May; she is quite the little planner) and I mentioned a tea party. She of course was giving that thought when Jordan chimed in and said, "I don't want that at my party." Of course I reassure him that we wouldn't do that at his party, and Jannah and I try to finish our thoughts. Jannah actually ruled that idea out, she is really thinking hard about this 5th birthday!
~We were at the BX today, and we passed the Coach purses. Jannah and I did stop and look at them, which I hardly ever do. a little while later, Jannah said to me, "for Valentine's Day, I am going to get you one of the purses with the letters on it." How thoughtful, she wants to buy a Coach purse for me :)

Weekly Pictures

Jamison is 4 months old, is there any way to slow time down? He's getting big so fast, I can hardly believe it! At his 4 month well baby today, he weighed 13.7 pounds, only 1 ounce more than Jordan at 4 months. I have offlicially decided that he favors Jannah, it has taken me this long to make my mind up. Jordan told me today that "Jamison is the cutest baby in the world." So see, I am not the only one who thinks that :)
This is Jordan with his bug collection. Look very closley on the floor, you will see them all strategically placed in a line! I asked him if his bugs had a name, and he told me they were all named Jason. He tells us from time to time that his name is Jason, he must like the name!Friday, February 1, 2008
Big Girl!
Last night, Jannah went to her first "sleepover." She's my little girl, she doesn't seem old enough to be going to sleepovers! This is the start of all the girly things to come, am I really ready for that? She went to her friend Faith's birhtday party, and let me tell you Jannah was so excited about it. Faith's Mom had my number, and I half expected for her to call me; I thought Jannah might not make it through the night, but she never called! Jordan went with me to drop Jannah off, he was the one that had a hard time. As we left, he told me he wanted to go back and get Jannah, he said, "I want Jannah to go home with us." It was sweet, and I felt bad for him; yes they have their arguments and moments, but all in all, those two kiddos love each other, they watch out for one another! The night seemed a little quieter, but we did miss Jannah. Jordan went to bed just fine without her, he too survived the first sleepover! She had a really good time, and is ready for the next one :)

Wednesday
Yes, these are the precious faces that I am so honored to mother. There are some days, like today, that being their mother seemed so difficult. Don't get me wrong, I would have it no other way. I love being their "Mama." I love their hugs and kisses. I love to read to them. I love to play with them. I love to watch them interact. I love to teach them new things. I love to help them. I mean really, I love everything that involves them and me! So, if I love them so much, why was today so difficult? To answer my own question, it just was! Shooter Gun

In Jordan's world, this is called a "shooter gun." As of recent, he has gotten a little obsessed with guns. It seems as though anything in the house is fair game to become a shooter gun. This is really his drill, but has everything needed to be converted into a shooter gun! He asks me to shoot it, I do my best, but have yet to shoot it to his standards. And yes, every time I try, he corrects me and shows me the right way. I should add that as I tried to take these pictures, it was really disturbing him and messing up his technique!
