In case your wondering what happened, I can explain! You see, I was trying to do the right thing, and boil these paci's before giving them to Jamison. I put them on the stove.....and walked away.......to my computer. A good amount of time elapsed, and I smelled something burning. I thought to myself, something doesn't smell right. Then I thought, the dishwasher doesn't usually give off a burnt smell while running. Then it hit me, oh no; the pacifiers! So, I jumped up and ran to the stove, to find this, accompanied with smoke. I think I caught them just in time, (or maybe not, by the looks of them)! I run to the balcony door, and put the pot outside. The last thing I want to do is set the smoke alarms off (everyone in my house is sleeping, this would not be a good time to test them out). So, Jamison won't be having these paci's and I will not be walking away from them on the stove again. The directions say to boil for two minutes for a reason!

UH OH!!!! That's funny! :)
Love, Susan
Oh my! I must admit that I was relieved to learn that it was only pacifiers that were ruined because at first I thought that was the ring you had made!!! I don't know why I thought it looked like your ring... but it sort of does!
You're a good mom... you boil your pacis... I haven't since C was about 6 months old... That makes me sound like an awful mom. But he must have a heck of an immune system! :)
Thanks! I always wondered what would happen if I boiled the binky pot dry, and now I know!
Oh my goodness! Thanks for the laugh.
